   Note: The handle on the boarding pike is about 9' long. Dimensions of the metalwork varied from the small version shown here to sizes that had a 9" or 12" blade length with a 24" span from tip to base of the mounting flanges. Metalwork on the pikes was painted white or red and the butt of many poles had a small 1" flange (widening) of wood.
