As a friend and patriot, and on behalf of our advisory board and military families in the United States, during this Holiday Season of Caring, I would like to ask for your support to help underwrite the extraordinary needs of the men and women of our armed services who are deployed overseas and in harm’s way. “Operation Homefront” is the premier nonprofit organization that provides emergency assistance and morale to our troops, to the families they leave behind, and to wounded warriors when they return home. Without supporters like yourself, we simply could not do what we do everyday to help these families, often on the brink of despair both in hope and financially on several fronts – and because of your generosity, we are able to bring smiles and joy to military families that they otherwise would not have this Christmas Season! As you know from the media, once again our fellow servicemen – your family, friends and neighbors that are in the National Guard and standing military – are being re-deployed and are heading overseas in a few short weeks to Iraq and Afghanistan and will perhaps be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free. And while joining the troops already on the front lines, they should not be made to have to go into combat with an extra worry – having to agonize about whether their families can buy groceries, pay their mortgage or afford the high cost of heating oil. As you can imagine, even simple day-to-day concerns due to bureaucratic snafus take on an extra meaning when you are on the front lines or sitting in a foxhole… Since 2002, Operation Homefront has provided millions of dollars in critical assistance to thousands of military families across the country in the following ways:
…And Much More!
During this Holiday Season and time of caring, no matter what your politics may be, won’t you join Operation Homefront in this sacred mission by making a generous donation to help a military family in need – who is anxiously waiting for their loved one to return home. After all, don’t we owe them that much? Respectfully, Ira Shaffer |
