Member Units, Member Benefits, Supporting NMLHA

The Navy and Marine Living History Association, Inc. (NMLHA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to the promotion of an awareness of America's nautical history and to the support of our living history member units who portray the sailors and marines of the many countries that played a role in the formation of our country in the period 1750-1900.

This website serves as a forum for the exchange of information between our member groups as well as a resource of original research and historical documentation both for those members as well as students, researchers, and anyone interested in naval history.

Membership in the NMLHA is open without regard to race or religion to new or established Navy and Marine units portraying authentic Navy and Marine ship's companies from 1750 to 1900; individuals may also join by signing up with our new Fleet Reserve unit. After reviewing the bylaws of NMLHA, contact Bruce Tucker, Secretary, or Chris Grimes, President, for additional information and answers to your questions. The procedure for applying is outlined on a separate page.
